Tuesday, February 24th, 2026: Ms. Richards’ fifth-grade Citizenship & Science Academy of Rochester class welcomed a very special guest experience. Students explored art history and participated in a hands-on learning session led by professional artists from the 9th Floor Artists Collective.

During the visit, students created their own artwork while learning about different artistic styles and techniques. They also had the opportunity to present their pieces to their peers, building confidence and practicing their presentation skills.

It was an engaging and inspiring experience that combined creativity, learning, and self-expression for everyone involved.
